OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Omaha police say a 38-year-old woman has died after her car flipped and struck a light pole.

Maria S. Melendez of Omaha was driving in a Jeep on Interstate 80 when she lost control of her vehicle last week.

She was taken with life-threatening injuries to a hospital, where she later died Sunday.

The crash remains under investigation, but police say icy road conditions were a factor.
