57th Annual Shrine Bowl of Nebraska

(Feb. 17, 2015)- The top 70 high school football players from across the state of Nebraska, who are playing in the 57th annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl, were revealed at the press conference held at the Scottish Rite Temple of Lincoln at 11:00 a.m. this morning. Coaches from the North and South teams were also in attendance. The annual Shrine Bowl football game showcases the talents of 70 high school seniors throughout the state.

The Shrine Bowl festivities will begin Saturday, June 6, with a parade at 10 a.m. The parade route runs along Central Avenue starting at East Railroad Street. All former Shrine Bowl participants are invited to walk in the parade alongside the Shrine Bowl float. Shrine Bowl alumni are encouraged to wear their old jerseys while participating in this event.

Proceeds from Shrine Bowl ticket and merchandise sales benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. With 22 locations nationwide, Shriners Hospitals are on the cutting-edge of medical care.
