Lincoln, Neb. (Feb. 17, 2015)- The top 70 high school football players from across the state of Nebraska, who are playing in the 57th annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl, were revealed at the press conference held at the Scottish Rite Temple of Lincoln at 11:00 a.m. this morning. Coaches from the North and South teams were also in attendance. The annual Shrine Bowl football game showcases the talents of 70 high school seniors throughout the state.
The Shrine Bowl festivities will begin Saturday, June 6, with a parade at 10 a.m. The parade route runs along Central Avenue starting at East Railroad Street. All former Shrine Bowl participants are invited to walk in the parade alongside the Shrine Bowl float. Shrine Bowl alumni are encouraged to wear their old jerseys while participating in this event.
