Brent Floyd Farley

brent-farleyBrent Floyd Farley, 47, of North Platte, passed away February 25, 2015 at Saint Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln.

He was born September 30, 1967 to Allen and Shirley (Keller) Farley at North Platte.  Brent graduated from North Platte High School with the class of “86”.  He married Tina Pacheco in July of 1990 and to this union a son, Nathaniel was born.  He was employed by Nebraska Machinery for over 20 years.  On August 19, 2006, he was united in marriage to Charity Davis and to this union a son, Fisher was born.  Brent then worked for TLC Equipment and later as an assistant manager for Construction Rental.  Brent was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, camping, playing pool and his passion was cooking and grilling.  Brent was a member of the Eagles Club for 26 years.

He is survived by his wife, Charity; two sons, Nathaniel and Fisher; his mother, Shirley; a grandson, Easton; two sisters, Angela (Johnie) Eandi and JoAnn (Gerald) Shotkoski; father and mother-in-law, Mark and Deb Harris; a nephew, Jay; a niece, Rosalie; a brother-in-law, Cameron; special friends, Travis and Jennifer Martin; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Farley; and a brother, Brad Farley.

Memorials services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with the Reverend James Novakowski officiating.  Memorial book signing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
