Nancy C. Rivera, age 85 formerly of North Platte, passed away in Omaha Wednesday March 11, 2015.

Nancy was born on June 3, 1929 in Wellington, KS to Ignacio and Patricia (Landeros) Vieyra.  She moved to North Platte as a child and lived here most of her life before moving to Omaha to be near her children in 1998.  She worked as a custodian at North Platte City Hall for fourteen years and retired in 1992.  She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Nancy is survived by her children Gloria Mata of Lexington, Lucy Raimerez of College Station, TX, Ruben Rivera of McPherson, KS, Patty Lozano of Omaha, Willie Rivera of Omaha, Antonia Sanchez of Omaha; 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter Rosie Landeros.

Memorials are suggested in her name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday March 16, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Reverends Michael Pampara and C.P. Varghese officiating.  Inurnment will follow at North Platte Cemetery.  Those wishing to do so may sign the register book from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday March 15, 2015 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
