WILBER, Neb. (AP) — A 5-ton, 7-foot-tall storm-chasing vehicle will be one of the features at the 2015 Regional Severe Weather Seminar this Saturday in Saline County.
The free seminar is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. at Saline Center Hall, which sits about 11 miles west of Wilber.
“Chasing and Covering the Pilger Twin Tornadoes: An Insider’s Perspective” will be presented by the Iowa Storm Chasing Network’s Ben McMillan and Zach Sharpe.
Michael Moritz, National Weather Service warning coordination meteorologist from Hastings, will give some spotter training.
