Nebraska Pilot Suffers Only Minor Injuries When Plane Crashes

pierce-county-sheriffFOSTER, Neb. (AP) — A pilot suffered only minor injuries after putting his crop duster down in a northeast Nebraska field, which overturned on its top in the process.

27-year-old Brandon Rosberg was flying for Bloomfield Ag and Aerial when he lost power just after noon Friday.

Rosberg reported that he made an emergency landing in the field just northwest of Foster. Rosberg said the plane skidded “a long way” before it came to a stop upside-down.

Pierce County Sheriff Rick Eberhardt said Rosberg was able to free himself and was assisted by witnesses. Rosberg complained of back and neck pain and was taken to a local hospital.
