BRIDGEPORT, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say one of a Nebraska Panhandle man’s feet was severed by a propeller on an ultralight aircraft.
Morrill County Sheriff Milo Cardenas says the accident occurred Monday evening while Mark Wickard, of Bridgeport, was working on the aircraft in a field. Cardenas says the foot was severed while Wickard tried to turn off the engine.
Wickard was flown to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.
