OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a vacant house in eastern Omaha.
The fire occurred near 16th Street and Carter Boulevard around 5:30 a.m. Saturday. No one was injured.
The homeowner told Omaha television station KETV that the property was being renovated before fire destroyed it.
Omaha television station WOWT reports that a neighboring home sustained heat damage from the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
