Phyllis M. Stackhouse, 86, of North Platte, went to meet Jesus her Lord and Savior at 3:00 a.m. on July 6, 2015 at Great Plains Health. She was born May 18, 1929 to Erwin and Melissa (McDermott) Hasenauer at Wellfleet. She graduated from North Platte High School with the class of “47”. On Feb. 20, 1948, she was united in marriage to Dale Stackhouse in North Platte. They lived in Wisconsin, where they owned and operated a dairy farm for over 28 years; then after retiring they returned to North Platte. She is survived by her husband, Dale of North Platte; two daughters, Ronda (Earl) Vanover of Virginia and Debra (Kevin) Nikutta of Michigan; a son, Irvin (Linda) Stackhouse of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; Paula Woolley, Heather Maloney, Rachel Carter, Michael, Kevin, and Angie Stackhouse, and Jonathan Nikutta; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Marvin (Sharon) Hasenauer and Mark (Linda) Stackhouse; sister, Bonnie Bonicci, and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gary Hasenauer. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. A memorial has been established in her memory. Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Pastor Peter Brick officiating. Family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. Saturday prior to services at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Plainview Cemetery near Maxwell. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
