While on an unofficial visit to Lincoln this week, Miami (Fl.) Southridge High School 2016 cornerback DiCaprio Bootle gave his verbal commitment to Mike Riley and the Huskers.

Bootle, 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, was one of the players that stood out to the Huskers coaching staff during their satellite camp in Miami last month when he ran a 4.34 second 40-yard dash.

Bootle is unranked by ESPN recruiting services but has been given a 3-star ranking by Rivals.

Other Schools that have offered Bootle: UCF, Temple, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee State, FIU, Appalachian State

The commitment list is up to 13 for Nebraska and they continue to stay in the top 25 national recruiting ranks.
