PRAGUE, Neb. (AP) — One man has died and another remains in serious condition after falling out of the back of a pickup truck.
The incident happened in Prague, Nebraska, early Sunday morning.
Saunders County Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz says the men were thrown out of the truck after the driver hit the gas. The 23-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and reporting false information.
Twenty-three-year-old Jacob Smaus and 28-year-old Jesse Mumaugh fell out of the truck, and Smaus later died from his injuries.
