Larry E. Perlinger, age 75 of North Platte, passed away July 23, 2015 at his home. He was born January 26, 1940 at North Platte to John and Anna (Neuberger) Perlinger. Larry grew up on a farm southwest of Paxton and attended district 70 country school and also Paxton High School. He was united in marriage to LaDonna Johnson on October 20, 1962. They lived in Madrid and Grant before moving to North Platte. To this union, they had three children, Vincent, Anna, and Garret. Larry enjoyed life on the farm and working with tractors and machinery. He loved horses, dogs, cattle, John Deere’s, and Fords. Larry was always on the go and enjoyed visiting with friends and spending time with family. He embraced his Catholic Faith where he was involved with Marriage Encounters and Charismatic Prayer Group for many years. Family that will dearly miss him include, his wife, LaDonna of North Platte, children, Vincent and Anna Perlinger both of North Platte, grandchildren, Shayla (Samuel) Dunn and Garrett Perlinger, brother, Jim (Pat) Perlinger of Paxton, sisters, Jeanne (Gene) Krab of Paxton and Stella (Joe) Klosen of Stapleton, sisters-in-law, Jen Perlinger and Louise Perlinger, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Fred, and Bernard Perlinger, sisters, Pauline Myers, Helen Miner, and Phyllis Blake, son, Garret, and a granddaughter Amanda. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Reverend James Golka as celebrant. Rosary will be 7:00 pm Monday at the church. Cremation was chosen and a private family inurnment will be at the Madrid Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so Thursday, Friday, or Monday from 9 am to 5 pm at Carpenter Memorial Chapel.Online coldolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com.
