The North Platte Community College Lady Knight basketball team added two more to their 2015–2016 roster.  BreAsia Allison from Beaumont, TX and Jacey Schlegel from Burns, Colo.

Allison, a 5’ 10 “ forward, played for Beaumont Central High School in Beaumont, TX.  Allison averaged eight points, four rebounds and three blocks per game.  She shot 65 percent from the free throw line.  Allison was All-District Honorable Mention and Academic All-District.

Lady Knights Head Coach Richard Thurin said, “ BreAsia is a versatile player and a good rebounder.”

Schlegel, a 5’ 9” forward, is a transfer from Colorado Northwestern Community College where she averaged 3.7 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game in 29 games last season.  Before playing at Colorado Northwestern, Schlegel played four years for Soroco High School in Oak Creek, Colo.  Her senior season, she averaged 11.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

Thurin said, “Jacey played at Colorado Northwestern last year and has a lot of experience which will help the Lady Knights.”

Allison and Schlegel add to the Lady Knights 2015-2016 recruiting class which now has nine newcomers to the program.
