
Lincoln was ranked in the Top 10 Best College Towns for 2015 by Livability.com. The site listed overall resident happiness, local restaurants, easy pedestrian and bicycle navigation and a booming entertainment district near campus as primary reasons for placing the capital city at No. 9.
The latest ranking adds to a list of national rankings placing the hometown of the Huskers as one of the best college cities in the country. One of the nation’s largest 75 cities, Lincoln features many of the benefits of an urban setting and is only minutes away from the scenic beauty and wide open spaces of America’s Heartland. The third-largest city in the Big Ten, Lincoln enables Nebraska student-athletes to enjoy the benefits of city life while residing in a community which is widely regarded as one of the top places to live in the United States.
