LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Hunters may begin buying Nebraska fall turkey permits at 1 p.m. Monday.
Permits will be available at OutdoorNebraska.org and Nebraska Game and Parks Commission permitting offices.
The permits are valid statewide and allow hunters to kill two turkeys of either sex, using shotguns or archery equipment. Each hunter may obtain one or two permits. There is no minimum age requirement.
The fall turkey season runs Sept. 15 through Jan. 31.
