Brian Wade Fugate, 44, of Elkhorn, passed away Aug. 29, 2015, at United Methodist Hospital in Omaha. He was born June 9, 1971, in North Platte to Richard L. and Delores J. (Brue) Fugate.
Brian attended North Platte Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1988. He attended Southeast Community College in Milford and lived in Lincoln and Fort Collins before settling in Omaha. He worked as a design technician for Omaha Fixtures.
Brian loved to snowboard in Winter Park, Colorado, enjoyed mountain biking, Frisbee golf, animals, Cornhuskers football, and spending time at Golden Points Ranch and Lake Maloney, where he grew up.
Survivors include his mother, Delores (Tom Neidhardt) Fugate; father, Richard “Dick” (Marcia) Fugate; sister, Dustie (Jeremy) Cole, all of North Platte; brother, Richard “Rich” Fugate of Rochester, Minnesota; nieces, Ashleigh, Lauren, Alexandra, Taylor, and Aspen; and nephew, Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dale and Opal Brue; paternal grandparents, Archie and Ruby Fugate; and cousin, Eugene Golden.
