The North Platte Community College Lady Knights volleyball team lost a key match on Thursday night against the Southeast Community College Lady Storm 25-14, 25-16. 25-20.

The loss drops the Lady Knights to 7-11 on the season and 0-2 in National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX Division II  play.

The Lady Knights in the first set trailed the Lady Storm 14-12.  Southeast went on a 11-2 run to close out the first set.

The Lady Knights were led in kills by Valerie Most with five kills.  Josie Palmer, MaKenna Ketter and Shelby Wolever each added three.  Wolever added nine set assists..  Megan Chintala had 16 defensive digs to lead the Lady Knights.

The Lady Knights travel to Overland Park, Kan., to participate in the Johnson County Invitational.  They will open up against the host and number three nationally rated Johnson County Community College at 3 pm.  They then play the number six rated Des Moines Area Community College at 5 pm.
