Omaha Police ID 2 Killed, 1 Injured in Saturday Shooting

omaha-policeOMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Police have identified two men killed and a woman injured in a shooting at a home in north Omaha.

Police say 26-year-old Malquan King and 23-year-old Arelius Hassell were killed in the shooting that happened early Saturday morning. Officers responding to a report of a shooting at the home arrived just after 2 a.m. Saturday to find the two men dead and a woman, identified as 25-year-old Tommynique Valentine, injured. Valentine was taken to an Omaha hospital, where she was treated and released.

Police say several children were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but were not injured. The children have been taken into protective custody.

Police have not released any other information about the shooting and are still looking for suspects.
