Hazel N. Kreiling, 90, of North Platte, passed away October 13, 2015 at Linden Court and on her way to Heaven she was dancing with the stars. She was born May 19, 1925 to Leo and Vinnia (Templer) McMurtry at Heartwell, NE. She graduated from McGrew High School as the valedictorian and was united in marriage to Howard Kreiling on May 16, 1943 at Minatare, NE. She and her husband loved to dance. She is survived by her son, Richard (Karen) Kreiling of Hershey; her daughter, Sandra (Gayland) Meyer of North Platte; four grandchildren, Tracy Meyer, Greg Meyer, Mike Kreiling and Blaine (Elora) Kreiling; six great grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicole, Evelyn, Alyssa, Cora and Jack; four great great grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Kolten and Gabriella; a brother, George (Pat) McMurtry of Bayard; and a sister, Leona Herdt of Gering. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1994; one brother; four sisters; and a great granddaughter, Krystal Kreiling. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com.
