The North Platte Community College Lady Knight Volleyball team will host Northeastern Junior College at 7 pm on “Sophomore Night” at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on the South Campus of North Platte Community College.

The sophomores for this year’s team are Anna Crane, Valerie Most, Samantha Morgan, Gabrielle Nickel and Aryn Meisinger.

The Lady Knights are 13-18 on the season and are led in kills by Most with 339 kills.  MaKenna Ketter has 280 kills.  Shelby Wolever leads the Lady Knights with712 set assists.  Megan Chintala has 516 defensive digs.

Lady Knight Head Coach Alexa Hopping said, “Both teams are playing well.  I am excited to see how we match up with them.”

The Plainswomen are 19-13 on the season.  They are led in kills by Anais Vargas with 377 kills.  Yuting Qi has 242 kills and leads the Plainswomen in total blocks with 85.  Taylor Upchurch has 989 set assists and Jazmin Montes has 580 defensive digs.

Between the second and third set there will be a demonstration by the S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) club of North Platte Community College.  They will be demonstrating a Bluetooth paper airplane.
