The North Platte Community College Lady Knights volleyball team split their matches at the Triton Invitational.
In the first match of the day, the Lady Knights defeated the North Iowa Community College Lady Trojans in four sets 25-21, 16-25, 25-21, 25-14. The Lady Knights had three players in double digits in kills led by MaKenna Ketter with 16. Aryn Meisinger added 14 and Jessica Lovitt had 11. Megan Chintala had 28 defensive digs in the match.
The Lady Knights as a team had 50 kills in the match with a .267 kill efficiency.
In the second match of the day, the Lady Knights were defeated by the host Iowa Central Community College Tritons 25-23, 25-15, 25-13.
The Lady Knights could only manage 28 total kills in the match with a .169 kill efficiency. Meisinger led the Lady Knights with eight kills. Chintala added 14 defensive digs.
On Saturday, the Lady Knights will begin the day at 9 am against Iowa Lakes Community College and finish their portion of the invite and the regular season against Ellsworth Community College at 3 pm.
The Lady Knights current record is 14-20 on the season.
