GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) — A Grand Island man has been taken into custody after surrendering without incident, ending a nearly six-hour standoff with officers.
Police were sent to the northwest Grand Island home around 8:20 p.m. Saturday. Authorities say the man had gotten into a dispute with a neighbor and is reported to have pulled a weapon before going back to his own house. No gunshots were reported.
The man left his home and gave up a little after 2 a.m. Sunday. His name hasn’t been released.
