The North Platte Community College Knights will open their home portion of their 2015-16 schedule when they host Fort Carson on Saturday, November 7 at 3 pm.
The Knights are 2-1 on the season coming off a loss to Dodge City Community College.
In the early season, the Knights have six players averaging at nine or above including four in double figures. Sophomore Tim Wagner leads in scoring with 14 points a game. Freshman Diontae Champion is next with a 13.3 scoring average. Tyree Peter is averaging 11 points a game and freshman Jordan Mills is averaging 10.3 points per game. Leito Holloway and Michael Mitchell are averaging 9.3 and 9 points per game respectively.
Peter leads in rebounding with 8.3 rebounds per game and Wagner leads the Knights with four assists per game.
Fort Carson has no season statistics available, however Fort Carson also lost to Dodge City 90-52. In that game Lionelle Simpson scored 14 points and Alexander Dorval scored 11 points. Rich Middlebrook had eight rebounds to lead Fort Carson.
