LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Workshops are being planned across Nebraska to help farmers plan for succession at their operations.
Nebraska Agriculture Director Greg Ibach says farm families should take advantage of the free workshops to begin the planning process.
The workshops will discuss trusts, wills, life estate deeds and programs to help beginning farmers.
The one-day workshops will be held at locations throughout the state. The first one is scheduled on Dec. 2 in Hartington.
