BEATRICE, Neb. (AP) — Exmark is recalling several hundred riding lawn mowers because of a fire hazard.
The company said Tuesday that it discovered that the fuel filter on the mowers can break and leak fuel.
Exmark says consumers should stop using the mowers and contact a dealer? to schedule a free repair. About 500 of the mowers were sold nationwide.
Owners of the 2015 Exmark Quest riding mowers will receive letters about the problem, but information is also available online at www.exmark.com.
The affected mowers are red, black and gray with the word Exmark printed on the sides. The model number is QTS452CEM34200.
Exmark is a division of Bloomington, Minn.-based Toro, and it makes mowers at its Beatrice, Neb., plant.
