Jeffrey K. “Jeff” Jones, 53, of North Platte, passed away Nov. 30, 2015 at Great Plains Health. He was born June 28, 1962 to John and Helen (Maxon) Jones at North Platte. He graduated from North Platte High School with the class of “81”. On May 1, 1992, Jeff was united in marriage to Lucinda Siegel. He was employed at Jerry Remus for 23 years as a service technician. He enjoyed car racing and fishing. Jeff is survived by his wife, Lucinda; his son, Austin both of North Platte; three brothers, Gene (Karen) of North Platte, Randy (Cheri) and Mike (Marsha) all of Utah; his father and mother-in-law, Louis and Polly Seigel of Stapleton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jon “Jack” and Jim. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. Memorials are suggested the Callahan Cancer Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Valley Christian Church with the Rev. Brent Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at the North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
