OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A man in Nebraska has been sentenced in federal court to six years in prison for receiving child pornography.
U.S. Attorney Deborah R. Gilg says in a press release issued Tuesday that 54-year-old James A. Wiehe was sentenced in federal court in Omaha. He was given five years of supervised release following his expected release from prison.
Authorities in eastern Nebraska began investigating Wiehe in late 2014. A search of his home in March led to an examination of his computer. Authorities say he used file wiping software to delete child pornography.
