NPCC Lady Knights Volleyball Team Signs Curlee

The North Platte Community College Lady Knights volleyball team signed Mikenna Curlee from Peetz, Colo. to a national letter of intent for the 2016 season.

Curlee,  a 5’11” middle, played four seasons for the Peetz High School Lady Bulldogs. During her career, Curlee played in 285 sets and had 794 kills.  She finished with a .249 kill efficililency, had 112 total blocks and 86 service aces.  She also had 486 defensive digs.

Lady Knights Head Coach Alexa Hopping said, “Mikenna is an athletic player and works hard. She does a good job blocking in the middle and we are excited to see her grow here at NPCC. She will offer some height for us, as well as depth at the middle blocker position.”

Curlee is the fourth recruit to the 2016 Lady Knight volleyball team and the third one from the state of Colorado.  The other two from Colorado are Brooklyn Krehmeyer from Weldon, Colo and Antonya Schaffert from Otis, Colo.  The third recruit is Madi Gilg from Gothenburg, Nebraska.
