LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Lincoln woman is facing a charge of drunken driving after her car smashed into a house Saturday night.
Lincoln Police say the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on South 77th Street.
The 32-year-old woman’s car hit a mailbox and hit a brick home.
Two residents of the home told police the woman was trying to back out when they came outside to check on her.
Officers determined the woman had a blood-alcohol level of 0.148. That’s well above the legal limit of .08.
The crash caused about $5,000 damage to the home.
