LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — The U.S. Agriculture Department will survey 3,800 Nebraska farmers about what they plan to plant this spring.
The information will be used to help compile the spring planting report that will be released March 31.
The survey will be mailed out to farmers this month.
Dean Groskurth with the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service says this survey is one of the most important ones of the year.
