June Marie (Andrews) Evans 91 passed away March 10, at Pioneer Memorial Rest Home.

June was born June 8, 1924 to Lucian and Vera Andrews in Mullen, NE where she grew up and graduated with the class of 1941. She was united in marriage to Charles (Tex) Evans on April 8, 1944. June worked in the cafeteria at the Mullen School, traveled and worked with Tex on road construction until he retired in 1981.

They made Mullen their home. In 2009 they entered the Pioneer Memorial Rest Home.
June is preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Jim, sisters Esther, Betty, Eula, brother Garland, and grandson Brian. She is survived by two sons, Daniel (Linda) of North Platte, Russell (Iryna) of Denver, CO, seven grandchildren: Desiree (Mike) Faulker, Wendy (Chris) Hutley, Joe (Brooke) Rivera, Brad (Tracie) Evans, Travis (Beth) Evans, Amanda Hester, and Tammie (Mike) Lansford, sixteen great grandchildren, sister Norma Pearson and many other relatives.

Memorials may be given to American Legion Auxiliary Post #109, PO Box 586, Mullen, NE.

Visitation will be 4-6 pm MDT Thursday, March 17 at the Mullen Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 am CDT March 18 at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, NE.
