OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A 26-year-old Omaha woman will stand trial in connection with the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man in March.

A judge ordered trial Friday in the case against Secretia Benton, who is charged with being an accessory to a felony. She faces up to four years in prison if convicted.

Prosecutors say she had a role in the death of Jarrell Haynes, who was shot and killed outside his grandmother’s home on March 2.

Bernard Turner Jr. is still being sought by Omaha police after an arrest warrant was issued for him on March 30 charging him with first-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
