LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — The Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition is hosting a summer grazing tour to teach ranchers and bird enthusiasts about successful grazing practices and wildlife habitats.
The event has been set for June 14 in the Nebraska Sandhills near Thedford. The full day event will include a birding route, family ranch visits and an evening banquet with a guest speaker.
The Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition promotes proper grazing techniques as key to wildlife and bird habitat, vegetation diversity and increased water quality.
