Pamela Sue Anderson, 36, of North Platte lost her two year battle with cancer on May 13, 2016 at Great Plains Health. She was born August 21, 1979 to Susan (Spulak) and David Machacek at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Norfolk, NE. She was the oldest of six children. Pamela attended Washington Elementary, Adams Middle School and North Platte High School. At the age of 16 she received her GED and became employed at McDonalds. Pamela married Chad Brinker in May of 2000. To that union a daughter was born. On March 16, 2012, she was united in marriage to Travis Anderson and they made their home in North Platte. She attended Mid-Plains Community College and earned a degree as a Medical Lab Tech in May of 2014. She was employed at Flying J, Walmart & Village Inn. Pamela loved to scrapbook and spend time with her daughter, friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Travis; her daughter, Autumn Brinker both of North Platte; her parents, David and Susan Machacek of Sutherland; her step daughter, Arianna Sharp of North Platte; siblings, Matthew (Naomi) Machacek of Westminster, CO, Laura (T.J.) Hagert, Mark Machacek, Luke (Jennifer) Machacek and Jonathan Machacek all of North Platte; and many aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louis and Mary Ann Spulak and Emil and Gladys Machacek; an aunt, Colleen Keenan; and a nephew, Louis Emil Machacek. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com. A memorial has been established in her memory. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Church of Christ, 700 S. Willow, with Pastor Harold Rhea officiating. Burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 & family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
