John Edmund Bahl, age 75 formerly of McCook and North Platte, passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 15, 2016 at Grand Island.

He was born June 29, 1940 To William and Geraldine (Tumbleson) Bahl in McCook.
John completed school in McCook and was married on December 18, 1966 to Linda Mae Beck also of McCook.

He is survived by three children William of Lincoln NE, Julie Sanders of Hays KS, Holly (Andrew) Mattox of Overland Park KS and 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
John also leaves 5 brothers Dan (Jane) of Wichita KS, Tom (Midge) of Oak Point TX, Tim (Laurie) of Gering NE, Phil (Pat) of Omaha and Roch (Vickie) of Lincoln.
Survivors also include many nieces and nephews and his ex-wife, Linda.

John spent his working years in construction and in mechanical endeavors.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Calvary Cemetery in McCook. Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte.
