CENTRAL CITY, Neb. (AP) — A 50-year-old Loup City woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a crash northwest of Central City.
Theresa Ahrens was killed in the Thursday afternoon crash.
The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at a rural intersection when a southbound car collided with an eastbound commercial truck.
Ahrens was the driver of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the car were flown to a hospital and are expected to recover.
The 21-year-old truck driver from Genoa was not injured.
