BRADSHAW, Neb. (AP) — A man driving a tractor to mow a roadside ditch has been killed in York County.
Officers and medics were dispatched 3:40 p.m. Monday to a rural roadside about 2½ miles south-southeast of Bradshaw. Bradshaw Fire Chief Todd Hellerich said the man was trapped under the tractor and died at the scene.
York County Sheriff Dale Radcliff says the man was mowing the ditch when the tractor and its attached mower rolled on the steep bank.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
