LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say a man has been wounded while squirrel hunting near Schuyler.
The Lincoln Police Department says the 30-year-old walked into a Lincoln hospital around 2 p.m. Monday. Police say he and some friends had been hunting at the Whitetail Wildlife Management Area when one of his friends accidentally shot the man in a thigh.
The .22-caliber bullet wound was described as non-life-threatening.
