Taylar Coleman set North Platte High School single-season records for innings pitched (211.1), strikeouts (161), home runs (14) and runs batted in (54) during her junior season and has been honored as a member of the Class B All-State team by the Lincoln Journal Star.
Coleman also helped lead the Bulldogs to a second consecutive state tournament berth, the program’s first back-to-back state tournament appearances since 2001-2004. Two North Platte seniors, Kylie Engleman and Willow Chitty were named honorable mention Class B All-State.
