MITCHELL, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say a driver has been killed in Nebraska Panhandle crash.
The crash was reported around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday on a county road about three miles southeast of Mitchell. The Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office says the man’s vehicle was speeding east and ran off the road when he was unable to handle a 90-degree curve.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office identified him as 49-year-old Mark Faircloth, who lived in Scottsbluff.
