Gracelyn Rain White

gracie-whiteGracelyn Rain White, 13, passed away in Sutherland November 12, 2016.  She was born on July 20, 2003 to Brandy Smith in Denver, Colorado.  Her parents Matthew and Jennifer received the call while barbecuing hamburgers, they were able to take her home the following day to meet her older brother and sister, William and Cheyenne.  Shortly thereafter, the family settled in Sutherland where she got a new “baby” brother, Gavin.  As the years went by, Gracie’s heart added another dad, James Inman.  She loved her family fiercely.

Gracie Rain attended Sutherland Public School where she was in the 7th grade.  She will be remembered as a beautiful free spirit, she sparkled everywhere she went.  Gracie Rain always followed her own path.  She excelled at athletics, especially the long jump, where she appeared to fly across the sand.  She never met an animal that she didn’t want to bring home.  Gracie Rain loved and cared for her dogs, Dexter and Wookiee; and her cats, Psycho Kitty and Princess.  Everyone will remember Gracie Rain as an artist, her doodles are everywhere.  The world was her canvas.  She will always be known by her family as their “tiny dancer” a name given to her by her Nana and Papa.

Survivors include her parents, James and Jennifer Inman of Sutherland; siblings, William, Jared, Cheyenne, and Gavin; grandparents, Montee and Sandra Kennedy of North Platte, Mitchell and Karen Inman of Hershey, Harlow Welton Jr. of Wyoming, and Elizabeth Palmier of Denver, CO; godparents, Steven and Kendra Carper of Gretna, NE; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many friends.

Gracie Rain was preceded in death by her father, Matthew White; great-grandparents Mike and Sandy Gardner, Charlie and Victoria White, and Merle Inman.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family to establish a suicide prevention plan and an anti bullying program.  Online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.
