ASHLAND, Neb. (AP) — The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a Becoming an Outdoors-Family Camp at Carol Joy Holling Camp near Ashland in eastern Nebraska.

The Sept. 23-24 camp is designed for families looking to get started camping but needing some encouragement. There will be fishing, hiking, bird watching, cooking outdoors, shooting, kayaking and much more.
