The Reverend James Novakowski, age 67 of North Platte, passed away at his home on Wednesday April 25, 2018.  Memorials are suggested to Holy Spirit Catholic Church and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.  Christian Wake Services will be 7:00 p.m. Sunday April 29, 2018 and Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday April 30, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with The Most Reverend Joseph Hanefeldt, Bishop of the Grand Island Dioceses as celebrant.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday April 29, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  Burial will be at a future date in Philadelphia.  Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
