Beatrice – The North Platte Community College Knights softball team were swept in their final regular season doubleheader against the Southeast Community College Lady Storm, 5-2 and 13-5.

The losses gives the Lady Storm the number two seed and the Knights the number three seed in the Region IX Division II tournament.

The Knights will return to Beatrice to play the Lady Storm in a best two out of three series starting on Friday, April 27.

The winner of the playoff series will travel to Columbus to play the number one seed Central Community College in a best two out of three series to determine the Region IX Division II champion.  That series will begin May 5.

The Knights finish the regular season at 4-32 overall and 3-9 in Region IX Division II play.

The Lady Storms are 13-34 on the season and 6-6 in Region IX Division II,
