Update 05/11/2018 11:31 AM Comments from Coach Softley:
Yes sir that is true. I have accepted the head boys basketball job at Lubbock Christian High School in Lubbock, Texas. Along with boys basketball I will also be an assistant football coach, as well as teach economics and health. I am excited for the opportunity to coach using the Doing Sports God’s Way platform that will be implemented at Lubbock Christian, as well as coach alongside my brother Chris. We (my wife Hannah and I) are also looking forward to doing something outside of our comfort zone, and allowing God to stretch us in anyway He see’s fit. I enjoyed my time at NPHS and learned a number of things while I was here. I will truly miss relationships that we created at North Platte, specifically the girls on my basketball team. They were an absolute blast to coach and I really enjoyed the culture we were able to create in that 1st year. However, I know that they have a great foundation and have the talent to do some great things in the future.
