Man shot with pellet gun during disturbance in Kearney

A disturbance in Kearney resulted in a man being shot multiple times with a pellet gun.

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018, Kearney Police Officers were dispatched to the emergency room at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in reference to a 26-year-old male that reported he had been shot at his residence in Kearney.

The investigation determined that the incident occurred during an altercation involving several subjects at a residence, near 30th Street and 5th Avenue in Kearney. It was also determined that the victim has been shot more than one time with what is believed to be a BB / Pellet gun.

The victim has been treated and released from the hospital.
