PIERCE, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say one person was injured when a car crashed through the front door of a northeast Nebraska grocery store.
The crash happened at the Home Town Market in Pierce at about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Witnesses say it appeared the driver was attempting to park her car, and hit the accelerator instead of the brake, crashing into the front of the store.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
