SAN DIEGO (AP) — In the first rainout at Petco Park since 2006, the game between the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres was postponed Sunday.

The Rockies led 1-0 in the top of the fifth inning when play was stopped. It was called after a wait of 2 1/2 hours.

Petco Park opened in 2004 and the only previous rainout came two years later.

The game will be made up on Sept. 10.
