Charges Dropped in Lincoln Car Assault Case

gavel-and-scaleLINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Prosecutors have dropped charges filed against a Lincoln man accused of accelerating his car to strike and injure a woman.

Bradley Lilleston had been charged with domestic assault and use of a weapon.

Chief Deputy Lancaster County Attorney Pat Condon told the newspaper that the woman didn’t cooperate with prosecutors and didn’t show up at an Aug. 4 hearing for Lilleston.

Court documents say Lilleston threw some photos in front of the car on May 21 and that he accelerated when the woman tried to retrieve them. The documents say she was thrown over the hood and windshield and suffered a cut on her forehead and swelling on her right shin.
