Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska football team continued its 2015 Fall Camp Monday morning as the Huskers practiced inside the Hawks Championship Center and outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice fields for just over two hours. The Huskers were in full pads on a rainy Lincoln day.
Nebraska offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf spoke with the media following practice, mentioning that the offense is fully installed. According to Langsdorf, NU needs to sharpen things up on the offensive side before the Sept. 5 season opening game against BYU.
“A lot of detail, we have been a little sloppy in the procedure of things on Saturday, especially just getting the signal called on a play, breaking the huddle and lining up properly,” Langsdorf said. “Now it is really the focused detail work of we have our plays in, now we got to really detail how to run the play and how to get better at running the play, proper alignment and technique.”
“As we narrow our game plan down a lot, we want to make sure he is comfortable, give him some thoughts and then really rank them (plays) that he likes,” Langsdorf said. “We get into a game, we have a menu of plays—we want to make sure the quarterback that is making the decision is comfortable with the play and feels good about it.”
The Nebraska football team will be back on the practice field Tuesday morning, check back at Huskers.com for full practice coverage.

QUOTE OF THE DAY – TOMMY ARMSTRONG ON HOW CLOSE THE OFFENSE IS TO BEING GAME READY |

“We are close, like I said communication—that is the one thing we need to work on during the next few weeks before our first game. I think quarterback wise we need to get a little sharper when it comes to making reads and things like that, overall we are in good shape but we could be better.” |
